Our loving husband, father, and grandpa, passed away on October 6, 2017. He was born on March 23, 1942, in Murray, Utah to Merlin and Mildred Allen. He married Lynda Landers on August 17, 1962 in Sandy, Utah, later solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda; children, Darrin (Carrie), Tiffany (David) Edwards, Jeremy (Melanie), Daniel (Alicia); 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 12 noon at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), South Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Interment will be in the South Jordan City Cemetery. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.jenkins-soffe.com
