Ruth attended school through the twelfth grade at Milford High School. On August 30, 1932, Ruth was united in marriage to Duane Anderson in Crete, Nebraska. Ruth was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. In her free time she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and sewing. She was a member of West Blue Church of rural Milford and Eagles Club of Seward.
Ruth passed away on September 28, 2017 in Milford, Nebraska at the age of 103 years and 22 days.
She is survived by: sons, Donald (Virginia) Anderson, Dale Anderson, and Kenneth (Linda) Anderson; grandchildren; great grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by: parents, Henry and Elizabeth Heyen; husband, Duane Anderson; daughter, Sharon (Daniel) Neihardt; daughter-in-law, Rita Anderson; grandson, Steve Anderson.
