She attended school in Rockford. She married Chester Bronowski in July 1960 in Michigan. She was employed by Blackhawk Athletic Club as bartender for many years. She also was a member of Blackhawk Athletic Club and the Polish Falcons.
Survivors include: son, John (Sharon) Powixlaites; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Swanson; step-son, Ted (Dottie) Bronowski; grandchilren, Shari Liberty, John Powixlaites, Scott (Mary) Swanson, Vicki (Randy) Kearney, Terri (Mark) Johnson; ten great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by: parents; husband, Chester; and son, Richard Swanson.
