Noble N. Sherman, 83, brother of Mrs. George S. Christy, Ramona, died en route to a Tulsa Hospital at about 6 a.m. Wednesday. He had been a resident of the Bartlesville community for the past two months, having moved here from Wichita, Kan."

"SHERMAN RITES FRIDAY BURIAL AT WICHITA KAN.
Funeral service for Noble Nathan Sherman, 83, brother of Mrs. George S. Christy, Ramona, and former resident of Wichita, Kan., will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Arnold Moore Funeral Chapel. Rev. Bobby G. Boyd, associate minister of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Immediately following service in Bartlesville the funeral cortege will drive overland to Wichita Kan. Interment will be in the Wichita Park Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Sherman was born at Howard, Kan., on Jan. 30, 1883 and was reared there. He married Miss Vena Riley at Howard in 1916 and they lived at Howard and later at Wichita where she died in 1962. He was married to Mrs. Lucy Carpenter in 1964 at Wichita and they lived there until her death in April of this year. He had been associated with the Boeing Aircraft Company and Beech Aircraft Corp., and in later years had engaged in the real estate business. He came here this month to make his home with his sister and died Wednesday while he was taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment.
In addition to his sister at Ramona, survivors include a brother Perry W. Sherman, Fayetteville, Ark."
