Colleen was born in Lewiston, Idaho, on Tuesday, 11 September 1934, to Clarence LaVon and Viola Clayton Klippert Hansen.
On Friday, 15 January 1954, in Ogden, Utah, Colleen married Jack E. Bradford, of Corinne, Utah. The couple moved to Brigham City where they raised five children, supported each other's hobbies and talents, and found joy in life together. They celebrated their sixty-third anniversary this past January.
Colleen's passion for family and art ran deep. She taught her children, Mike, Jackie, Lynette, Colette, and Shane, along with countless others to recognize and appreciate art in all things.
Colleen had studied under many renowned art professors at Utah State University and attended master classes and studies abroad. Her ability to see the beauty of the Earth was portrayed, greatly, on canvas. Some of her finest works include portraits of her family. Colleen captured Brigham City's history through her painterly eyes, and regardless of medium the result was a masterpiece.
"CHB", as she was known in the artistic world, is survived by her husband, Jack; their children and spouses, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her aforementioned family, along with two grandsons, Casey Ruggles and Dustin Bradford; and her great-grandson, Dalys Sorensen.
Services to celebrate Colleen's eighty-three years of life were held Friday, 9 June 2017, at 11 A.M., at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. Interment followed in the Brigham City Cemetery.
