He was a member of St Anthony Church, former usher, Holy name society, and The Hidalgo Club.
Survivors include: his wife, Ella; sons, Antonio Avendano Jr. and Joseph (Cindi) Avendano; daughter, Mary (Chuck) Kittoe; grandson, Adam Kittoe; niece, Elpidia (Alfredo) Angeles; grand niece, Cynthia Angeles.
Funeral mass on Monday August 27, 2007 in St Anthony church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
