Mildred married Glenn Wisdom who passed away serving in World War II. She took over the family business, a bait and tackle shop, where she met her second husband, Berger Bjornson, who predeceased her in 1999. They resided in Rockford for many years.
Mildred was a thirty-five year member of Pelley Road Christian Fellowship. She also taught Sunday school for 15 years. Mildred enjoyed painting and playing the organ.
She is survived by: daughter, Diana (Jason) Bandy; granddaughters, Meagan Mae Danielle Bandy, Susan Que, Monique (Christopher) Huffman; great-granddaughters, Samantha and Courtney Henderson; sisters, Margarite (Kjell) Lusth, Emogene Howlett, and Caroline Ostrander; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by: parents; husbands; and many brothers and sisters.
Funeral service on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, in Olson Funeral Home. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.
