Aged Citizen Dies Near Pryorsburg From Attack of Apoplexy.
Following an attack of apoplexy, Edward Alexander, aged 82 years, 1 month and 24 days, died Wednesday at the home of his son James Alexander, near Pryorsburg. e was born June 2, 1832, and was one of the oldest citizens of the county. e had been married four times, but leaves no surviving wife. He left a number of relatives and the following sons, John Alexander, Fulton; James Alexander, Pryorsburg; Mark Alexander, Metropolis, Ill' Rich Alexander, Thomas and Samuel Alexander of Ballard county. Bueal occured Thursday afternoon at the Alexander graveyard.
