Audrey Roberts Merriman, 83, of Washington, Illinois, passed away at 4:50 A.M. June 28, 2017 at Washington Christian Village in Washington, IL.
She was born December 17, 1933 in Waltonville, IL to parents James A. and Hildred (Fairchild) Roberts. Audrey was a descendent of three Jefferson County pioneer families; the Gilberts, Bravards and Roberts.
She married Lester Merriman on December 24, 1951 in Waltonville, IL.
There will be graveside service Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. Knob Prairie Cemetery in Waltonville. Newell funeral Home is handling arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant brother; Bobby and three half brothers; Malcom, Neal and Noel Lennington.
