Martha X. Angileri, age 88, formerly of 1121 West Street in Rockford, Illinois, passed away at 3:04 pm on Thursday, February 28, 1992, in Park Strathmoor Nursing Home in Rockford, after a short illness. She was born on October 1, 1903 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Rotello.

Martha had lived in Rockford for 78 years, coming here from Texas. She married Cosmo Angileri in Rockford. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society of the Church, and the National Society of Catholic Foresters.

She is survived by: son, Michael (Phyllis) Angileri; grandson, Michael Angileri; granddaughter, Paula Angileri; great grandchildren, Joseph, Michelle and Nicholas; son in law, Phillip Giovingo; brothers, Nicholas Rotello and Alex (Evelyn) Rotello; sisters, Mary (Joseph) Peila, Theresa Rotello, and Josephine (Dan) Mroz; nieces; nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Cosmo; daughter, Armida Giovingo; grandsons, John Angileri and Andrew Giovingo; great grandson, Phillip Angileri; six brothers, Andrew, Joseph, Sam, Albert, Jasper and Anthony; and sister, Lillian Parlapiano.

Services on Monday March 2, 1992, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
