Judy Lahue, 55, of Walker, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at her home. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at the funeral home. Luncheon to follow services Saturday at Don Bosco Hall, Urbana.
Survivors include her husband, Tracy Lahue of Walker, Iowa; children, Isaac Lahue of Waverly, and Victoria Lahue of Hiawatha; siblings, William (Julie) Kester of Walker, Linda (Craig) Eastin of Urbana, and Cynthia (Carl) Malecha of Faribault, Minnesota; nieces and nephews, Mindy Miller, Kimberly and Casey Tierney, Karissa and Joe Keller, Lindsay and Chad Gloede, Alicia Cole, Lindsey Cole, Thomas Malecha and Clara Malecha; and nine great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Walter and Jane Ellen Kester; and father-in-law, Harley Glenn Lahue.
Judy was born on January 1, 1960, in Independence, Iowa, daughter of Glenn and Jane. She graduated from Urbana High School and attended Kirkwood Community College. Judy worked for Walker City Hall and for HACAP retiring in 2013. Judy a loving wife and mother, passed away after fighting a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends at her home. Judy will be truly missed by all those she touched in her short life.
