Michael H. Bellone, 66 of Rockford, Illinois, suddenly passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Born September 12, 1950 in Rockford, the son of Christopher and Edith “Pepper” Bellone.

Michael lived his entire life in Rockford, and was employed as a Driver for UPS. He was a member of St. Anthony Church, St. Ambrogio Society, Lombardi Club, LLL Society, Blackhawk Athletic Club, Venetian Club, and Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.

Mike loved to play golf and bocce. He also loved to travel, was fun loving, and non-judgmental. Mike had a huge heart and a helping hand for anyone who needed it.

Survivors include: love of his life, Kim Oswald; children, Amy Bellone and Matthew Bellone; siblings, Marlene (Fred) Swanborg, Tom (Lori Bogdonas) Bellone, Mary Bellone, Christopher (Kristine Lagowski) Bellone; sister-in-law, Kathy Bellone; brother-in-law, John Lindstrom; special friend, Brad Harradine; Jack the cat; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by: his parents; and brother, Frank Bellone.

Funeral mass on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Anthony Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
