Mrs. Dorothy L. Griffith, 63, of Star Route 4, Everett, a native of Mount Union, died Monday, November 27, 1978, in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital.

Born October 11, 1915, in Mount Union, she was the daughter of Henry A. and Ellen A. (Boyer) Goss. She married William A. Griffith on November 3 1937. He survives.

Seven children also survive: Home C. Griffith of Bedford R.D. 2; Mrs. Ellen L. Comb of Clay City, Ken.; Mrs. Caroline M. Foor of Everett R.D. 3; Charles A. Griffith of Everett; Mrs. Wilma Morris of Hopewell R.D. 1; Robert J. Griffith of Markleton; and Jeannie Griffith of Star Route 4, Everett.

Two sisters, Mrs. Stella Chilcoate of Mill Creek and Mrs. Mabel Beatty of Ohio, and 24 grandchildren also survive.

She was a member of the Everett United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 30, 1978, at 11 a.m. at the Conner Funeral Chapel, Everett, with the Rev. Dr. Martin W. Hopkins officiating. Interment will be made in the Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m.
