TAKEN BY DEATH

Harry Salmons, pioneer resident of Millwood, died at his home today following a lingering illness. He came to Millwood 44 years ago from Kansas and had resided there ever since with the exception of a few years spent at Spirit Lake, Idaho.

Mr. Salmon was born in England and settle in Kansas. For many years he served as treasurer of Millwood, but resigned several years ago because of failing health.

The family is widely known through the valley, and the Salmons home is a landmark of the Millwood community.

Surviving are his widow, Mary E., at the home; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Merritt and Mrs. Jennie Woodward, both of Millwood; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Concordia Masonic lodge at Millwood. The body is at Hazen & Jaeger's.
