Leslie O. Limes was a well-known farmer as well as a member of the Price's Premier Band. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

His obituary stated that he lived about three miles west of Greenfield. The farm was between Route 28 and the New Martinsburg Road.

Leslie O. Limes was also known as "Les" or "L.O.". He was the son of John and Jane Kelly (Kelley) Limes.

The death date inscription on the tombstone is September 16, 1939, however, his obituary stated he died on September 7, 1939. The obituary appeared on the front page of the Thursday, September 7, 1939 Greenfield Daily Times and stated he died at about 8:30a.m. "this morning."
