Ruby Estelle Carr, 72, of Warren, died April 19, 1998, at Bradley County Medical Center. She was born on May 7, 1925 at Warren, a daughter of the late Matt and Florence Vining Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Church.

Survivors include her husband, Travis Carr, whom she married on June 20, 1943; four sons, James Smith of Hugo, Oklahoma, Jimmy Carr of Warren, Billy Carr of Norphlet and J. T. Carr of El Dorado; two daughters, Mildred Baugus of El Dorado and Debbie Daugherty of Johnsville; three brothers, Frank Miller of Monticello, Jack Miller of Kansas and Stanley Miller of Warren; a sister, Margaret Mills of San Diego; two stepsons, Travis Carr and Alton Carr, both of El Dorado; 17
grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren with the Revs. Vernon Colvin and Wayman Mann officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Warren.
