MISHAWAKA - Darlene Kay Lindsey, 67, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 in Maywood, IL.

Darlene was born on March 1, 1949 in Mishawaka to Albert and Ida (Bird) Emmons. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Janis Sharon Jones and a nephew, Terrance Jones.

On August 10, 1968 in St. Matthew Cathedral in South Bend she married Joseph A. Lindsey. Joseph survives along with her niece, Sandy Potter of Mishawaka; nephew, Denis Jones of South Bend and several great nieces and nephews.

Darlene worked for St. Joseph Medical Center as a Medical Coder.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 25 at 11 a.m. in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka with Rev. Robert Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
