Passed away Wednesday in the same home he was born in.

Son of Leland and Agnes Roberts Chilcote.
Survivors include children Sheryle (Rick) Parrish, Teresa (Dennis) Fordice, Sandra (Mark) Fordice and Allen Chilcote; grandchildren Amanda (Matt) White, Laurel (Isaac) Nolan, Derick (Jill), Macy, Cory (Nicole), Lee (Lesli) and Jared (Shelby) Fordice; 12 great-grandchildren; niece Linda (Steve) Truax.
He was preceded in death by sister Betty Phipps, brother-in-law Wayne Phipps and nephew Larry Phipps.

Served in the United States Army.

He was a life-long farmer and worked for many years prior to his retirement at IBM.

He had belonged to the Morton F&AM Lodge, was a member of the John Deere Two Cylinder Club and was a noted John Deere and Antique Collector.

Graveside committal services 11am Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Visitation 4-7pm Monday at Hopkins Rector Funeral Home.
