Dr. John P. Manges investigated and certified death was due to natural causes.
Mr. Zeger was born near Mercersburg, a son of the late Jacob H. and Alice (Rotz) Zeger. He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Mercersburg, and the Mercersburg Sportsmen's Association. He had served for a number of years as the Democratic committeeman for the Second District of Montgomery Township. He was employed as a supervisor for the county district of PennDOT.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Louise Jones, Mercersburg R. D. 3; two brothers, Robert R. Zeger, Lemasters, and Lawrence C. Zeger, Mercersburg.
Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Trinity United Church of Christ, Mercersburg, in charge of the Rev. Don Creager. Burial will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg.
Friends may call at the church from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Arrangements were by the Lininger Funeral Home, Mercersburg.
