Hold Rites For John Conrad, 76
CHARLESTON, Ill. — Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Harper-Swickard funeral home here for John Conrad, 76, of Charleston, who died Wednesday at the Adkins Nursing Home here.
Rev. Frank Nestler officiated and burial was in Roselawn cemetery.
Mr. Conrad was born Dec. 20, 1884 in Dieterich, a son of John and Mary Bartels Conrad. He was married Nellie Perisho. She died in 1950.
He leaves three brothers, Fred and William, both of Charleston; and Charles, of Rankin; and a sister, Miss Emma Conrad, Chicago.
