William L. "Bill" Roberts, 67, Omaha, formerly of Rulo, died around noon Monday, Jan 23, 1995, at University Hospital, Omaha.
Mr. Roberts was born July 31, 1928, in Rulo. A son of Belle Louise Prater Roberts and the late Jesse Cecil Roberts, he grew up in Rulo.
In 1945 Mr. Roberts entered the United States Army. Following his discharge in 1948, he returned to Rulo, living there until moving to Omaha in 1950.
On Nov. 24, 1952, he married Vi Anne Curran in Omaha.
Survivors include three sons, Frank, Jesse and Jim Roberts, Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Galen (Joan) Johnson, Morse Bluff, and Rhonna De Luca, Omaha; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey Roberts, Dallas, Texas, and Cecil Roberts, Bridgeport, Wash.; two sisters, Evelyn Hodge, Hiawatha, and Mrs. Charles (Annabelle) Grady, Falls City; one half-sister, Helen Gaskill, Kennewick, Wash.; one stepsister, Helen Coleman, Falls City, and his mother, Belle Lilly, Kennewick.
Funeral services for Mr. Roberts will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Brewer-Kariska Funeral Home in Omaha. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Omaha.
