EDMOND POWERS, 53, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama for fifteen years and a veteran of World War II, died in a Birmingham hospital on Friday at 10:25 p.m. following a brief illness. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Edna Fuller Taylor, Montgomery, Alabama; a daughter, Miss Ann Taylor, Greenwood, South Carolina, and a number of nieces. Following a prayer service at White Chapel today at 1 p.m. the remains will be sent to Greensboro, Alabama where the funeral and burial will be held from the Methodist Church at 4:30 p.m. with the Rev.
