Courtney Brooke Fultz, 27, of Bethany, formerly of Sullivan, passed away at 9:26 p.m. Wednesday (December 21, 2016) in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.

Celebration of Life services will be at Noon Tuesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Pastor Dan Fultz officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until Noon Tuesday. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials are suggested to the Shelby Brooke Fultz Education Fund. Online condolences may be sent to the family at reedfuneralhome.net.

Courtney was born June 2, 1989 in Mattoon the daughter Timothy A. and Pamela R. Pickel Kidwell. She earned her Masters Degree in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University. Courtney was a National Award Winner of the United States Achievement Academy and a member of the Smyser Christian Church, Gays. She had worked as an Administrative Assistant for Admissions at Eastern Illinois University and most recently worked in customer service and accounting for Healthcom, Sullivan. She married Rocky Fultz on October 10, 2008 in Sullivan.

Surviving are her husband Rocky in Bethany; daughter Shelby Brooke Fultz at home; step daughter Meria Miller of Missouri; mother and step-father Pamela R. (Thomas M.) Fultz of Panama City, Florida; father and step- mother Timothy (Susan) Kidwell of Sullivan; sister Candice Fultz of Lovington; brothers Nicholas (Barby) Kidwell of Windsor, Brian (Amber) Kidwell of Windsor, Bradley Kidwell of Bethany; maternal grandmother Inna Pickel of Sullivan; paternal grandparents Ralph and Evelyn Kidwell of Sullivan and grandmother Shirley Fultz of Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Martin Pickel and grandfather Romeo Fultz
