Helen Moore peacefully passed away on January 23, 2024 in Thomasville, Georgia. She was born on March 26, 1938, in Pelham, Georgia to the late Jesse and Gladys Turner (Cooper).

Helen had a vibrant spirit and was deeply devoted to her family and faith. As a cherished member of Pineland Baptist Church, she found solace and purpose in her faith. Helen's compassion and dedication were evident throughout her professional life as she cared for children at a local daycare. Her nurturing spirit left an indelible impact on the lives of those in her care.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Denise Collins and her husband Keith of Thomasville, Darla Jean Glass and her husband Kevin of Thomasville, and Lynn Wilson and her husband Sal Tozzi of Tallahassee, FL; Sons John W. Moore Jr. of Orlando, FL and Tommy W. Moore of Thomasville; Grandchildren Brandon Collins and Heather of Newnan, William Collins of Thomasville, Kimbar Buller and David of Jacksonville, Fl, Melinda Barwick and Michael of Boston, Allen Glass and Kaleigh of Thomasville, Kate McEown and Steven of Raeford, NC, Ryan Wilson and Ian Cronin of Dunedin, FL, Chandler Wilson of Norman, OK and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years John William Moore Sr. and her parents Jesse and Gladys Turner (Cooper); brothers James Turner and Billy Turner and sister-in-law Shirley; sister Delores Ramsey and brother-in-law Ronald and great granddaughter Emerson Rae Glass.

Services to celebrate the life of Helen Moore will be held on Thursday, January 25th at 11am at Pineland Baptist Church with pastor Ricky Whitley officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 10-11am.
