"Jennie was the daughter of William Thomas and Sarah Lucretia Fritts Everhart. She married Barton Obediah Smith on April 8, 1894. They had a daughter, Malinda. At some point, Barton Smith took his daughter and went to Tennessee. Jennie did not see her daughter for 18 years. Jennie then married George Walter Everhart on August 25, 1900. They had no children. Her third husband was Hiram Franklin Fritts, whom she married on October 17, 1909. They had no children."
