LEONARD HEDSTROM of Las Vegas, NV passed away on Tuesda, January 26, 2016 after a brave battle with Terminal Cancer of the Bone, Brain, and Lungs. Leonard was born March 24, 1959 in Santa Monica, California. The youngest son of the late U.S. Naval Veteran, Gerald Leonard Hedstrom who served in the Korean War and traveled through Hawaii aboard the U.S.S. where he met Leonard's late Mother, Eugenia McQuary. They were married in Hawaii in 1955 shortly before the birth of their first born Lawrence in January of the following year. Shortly after, Gerald was Honorably discharged from the Naval Service in October of 1956. Leonard grew up in Torrance, California with his older brother Lawrance at their beloved Torrance home at 17029 Atkinson Street. Leonard graduated from North High School in Torrance in 1976, and went on to pursue his passion for the Automotive Industry. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. Leonard started in the Auto industry at Thomas Automotive Company in Hermosa Beach, California on Aviation Boulevard in the early 1980s. A well-accommodated Service advisor with AutoNation Honda Las Vegas for over 25 years. After moving to Las Vegas, he became well known in the automotive industry. His favorite Football team was the Oakland Raiders, and he was a diehard Harley-Davidson fanatic. His favorite NASCAR driver was Dale Earnhardt Senior. Leonard is survived by his brother; Larry, his son Sean, and his Mother Ms. Toni Antuna, and his sister, neighbor, and his most loyal confidant Mary Longo, and her daughter Alexandria.
