Adella Lorraine Anderson, of Plymouth, MN was 88 years of age when she passed away, the result of a fall in her home. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 48 years, Kermit Anderson; her parents, Len Anderson and Sarah Amundsen; three brothers, Merle, Gilman, and Lester Amundsen; one son, Steve Bowman.

Adella worked as a private-duty Alzheimer's nurse for 55 years. While some say Adella inspired them, most say she energized them. She was your cup of coffee. Full of life and a picture of health, Adella has shown us that a life taken too soon, is one taken without the physical suffering and mental decline. Adella's wish was to donate her body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program with eventual interment at Lakewood Cemetery. More than anything else, Adella loved to dance. She loved us unreservedly, listened to us intently, and showed us what it means to live freely.
