After a lingering illness of eight months, Uncle John McKeehan, an aged resident of this place, died at his home on East Main street, at 8 o'clock last night. Mr. McKeehan was known to all as "Uncle John". He was 77 years old and is survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Palm, Mansfield, Ohio; Mrs. Jane Glenn of Dickinson township, Pa.; Miss Nancy and Miss Margaret McKeehan, of Newville. The funeral will take place from his late residence tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment in Newville cemetery.
