Oscar D. Keefer, Sr., 76, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Andrews.

Oscar was born on June 3, 1942 in Urbana, Texas to Bert Barlow Keefer and Myrtle Kindall Keefer. He was raised in East Texas and served in the U.S. Marines. He married Laura Ella Wilson on November 20, 1993 in Andrews. He moved to Andrews in 1994 from Odessa. He had worked for West Texas Gas in Andrews for 17 years. He enjoyed baking pies during the holidays for his family and friends and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed watching wrestling on TV. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Arthur Keefer and Charles Darwin, 3 sisters, Gladys Keefer, Bertie Keefer, and Maurine Keefer.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Laura Keefer of Andrews, 2 sons, Oscar D. Keefer, Jr. of Georgetown and John David McElroy of Colorado City, 3 brothers, Harvey Keefer of Odessa, Martin Keefer of Austin, and Michael Keefer of Leander, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
