TAKEN BY DEATH

Orange Scott Baker, 80, E 2917 Olympic, a retired carpenter, died yesterday at his home. He had resided here for 31 years and is survived by his widow, Ella, at the home; four daughters, Mrs. Isabella McCullough in Iowa, Mrs. Clara McKinney in Minnesota, Mrs. Jessie Robertson of Portland, and Mrs. Ella Rehm of Newport; one son, W. R., of Spokane; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother, Cassius Baker of Portland, and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Davis of Tacoma. He was a member of the I. O. O. F.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Hillyard M. E. church with the Rev. Mark Freeman and the Odd Fellows officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood with Hazen & Jaeger's in charge.
