Forest Buford Dies; Services Set Friday

Funeral services for Forest Buford Jr., 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. Forest Buford. Sr., will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Dr. James Robinson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories with Cate-Spencer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Young Buford died at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hendrick Memorial Hospital in Abilene where he had been hospitalized for six weeks.

He was born July 3, 1952, in Bryan. The family has resided here since 1956. He was a sophomore at Sweetwater High School, a Boy Scout, a member of the Little League Giants baseball team and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents; one sister. Ann, of the home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Conner of Haskell; and paternal grandfather, Sam Buford of Haskell.
