ST. ANSGAR, Iowa -- Delmer Dale Daniels, 59, of Mason City, Iowa, a decorated Vietnam veteran, died Oct. 9, 2006, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City from diabetes, liver cancer and other complications due to exposure to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. He is the husband of St. Ansgar, Iowa, native Marjory (Hartwig) Daniels.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, a sister and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were Oct. 12 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mason City. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ackley, Iowa.
Memorials are preferred to the Delmer D. Daniels Memorial Fund in care of the family.
