Elinor A. L. Wolff, 95, of Lincoln, widow of the Rev. Frederich J. Wolff, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016. She was born in Monroe, Nebraska, the daughter of William H. and Marie (Poppe) Bokelman.

Elinor was a graduate of David City High School and Midland Lutheran College. She was a homemaker, and a former teacher in Nebraska rural schools and Norfolk Public Schools.

She and her husband, a Lutheran Pastor, served the Lutheran Church in a number of locations: Hoisington, Kansas; Central America, Ecuador, Peru; Tekamah, Davenport, Edgar, Friedens Lutheran in Lincoln, and after retirement, St John’s in Otoe, Nebraska.

She is survived by: sisters, Esther Depue and Lola (Howard) Leggett; brothers, William (Rose Ann) Bokelman, Max (Edith) Bokelman and Herman (Diane) Bokelman; sister-in-law, Christine Bokelman; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Kenneth, Leonard and Norman Bokelman.

Funeral service on Friday, May 6, 2016, at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home, Lincoln. Interment in Wyuka Cemetery.
