Graveside Services for Mrs. P. T. (Velma) Stokmans, 74, will be held at 2 pm Thursday, in Parks Cemetery with Chaplain H. Earl Calloway officiating.
Mrs. Stokmans, of Lufkin, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. Born in Cherokee County, she had been a resident of Lufkin for the past 43 years. She was a homemaker and a member of a Methodist Church.
Survivors: husband, Peter T. of Lufkin; son, John of Lufkin, daughters, Mrs. Billie Willmon of Diboll, Mrs. Fay McDonough of Waco, Mrs. Dora Rogers of Mauriceville; three step-daughers, Mrs. Adeline Brown and Mrs. Patricia Johnson, both of Reno, Nevada, and Mrs. Johnna Masero of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Onard Chumley of Lufkin; sisters, Mrs. Vera Kay White of Lufkin and Mrs. Johnnie Hudspeth of San Leon; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
