Oscar Norberg
EMPORIUM—Oscar S. Norberg, 85, of South Broad Street, Emporium, died December 10 at the Guy and Mary Felt Manor, Emporium.
He was born April 17, 1901, in Renovo, the son of Charles and Betty (Anderson) Norberg. He was married to Ruth Zoella Mason Dechant, who preceded him in death in 1943. On August 30, 1957, he was married to Leola Hayes in Brockway.
A resident of Emporium since 1936, Mr. Norberg was employed as a foreman by Cameron Manufacturing Company in Emporium, until 1960.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Jaffa Shrine, Emporium Masonic Lodge 382 F&AM, the Coudersport Consistory, and was a life member of the 120 CB Club in Emporium.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Oscar E. Norberg of Champagne, Illinois, William E. Norberg of Waterloo, New York; seven Grandchildren, six great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a step-son, two brothers and three sisters.
Interment was in St. Leo's Cemetery, Ridgway.
