Bob Eppard was born April 3, 1938 in Webster City, Iowa, to Donald and Gladys (Westwick) Eppard. He grew up on the family farm in Blairsburg, IA. Following his graduation from Blairsburg High School, he attended the University of Iowa. Bob married Jeanne Klaver in 1959, and in 1968 they moved their family to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, a community they loved and where they raised their family. In 2010 they moved to Ankeny, Iowa to be closer to their family.

Many would say that Bob will be remembered for his devotion to family, his leadership skills, his woodworking accomplishments, his vocal musical talent, and his work ethic, but Bob would say that he wants to be remembered as a follower of Christ.....one whom God sought and opened his spiritual eyes, where Bob found forgiveness and love and then devoted his life serving the Lord.
