Dennis U. Arrington, age 82, of Mableton, Georgia passed away on Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2016. He was born November 10, 1933 in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late Marvin Jackson Arrington and the late Mary Lancaster Arrington. Mr. Arrington was a retired truck driver, having worked for Kroger for forty-seven years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters: Erin Farrell, Eris Lambert, Eller Bates, Sarah Talley, and Florence Shephard; and brother, Dewell Arrington and Darvell Arrington. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jane Widner Arrington; sons and daughters-in-law: Keith and Elsie Arrington of Carrollton, Georgia, and Doug and Jenny of Roopville, Georgia; grandchildren: Dennis Jason Arrington, and his wife, Brandy, of Villa Rica, Georgia and Dustin K. Arrington, and his wife, Michelle, of Carrollton; and three great grandchildren: Madelyn, Bella, and Mia Arrington. Private funeral services will be conducted at a later date. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
