Born July 20, 1954, in Fulton, N.Y., Jack was the son of late John W. Soderholm Sr., who died April 22, 2004, and Shirley (Robillard) Soderholm.
Jack graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
On Dec. 29, 1979, Jack married the love of his life, Thelma “Taffy” Flood at his mother and father’s home in South Glens Falls.
Jack worked as executive vice president for McCarthy Brothers Construction, at which he was employed for 32 years, until December 2009.
Jack will be remembered by all those who knew him for his unusual sense of humor, his love of reading, computers and his John Deere tractor, but most of all, for his love of his family.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Taffy; his son, Warren “Buddy” Curren; his mother, Shirley Soderholm; his sister, Terrie Davall and her husband, Dennis; his brother, Randy Soderholm and his wife, Mary; his sister, Amy Solderholm; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main St., South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
At Jack’s request, there will be no calling hours.
A memorial service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
