Mrs Elizabeth Barnhart Deems, aged 34, wife of Decatur Deems of Carmichaels, died Sunday May 10, 1941 in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Deems was a daughter of Walter and Dora Rose Barnhart. Besides her husband and a daughter, Marian, she leaves two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Martha Harn of Carmichaels; Mrs. Charles Mitchell of Rowe's Run; Milton and James Barnhart of Hopwood. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 pm (Est) from the home of a brother-in-law, Daniel Deems with the Rev. Lew F. Johnston in charge and interment will be in Laurel Point Cemetery.
