Clyde W. Hampton, 58 of New Paris, OH, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Clyde was born on November 29, 1956 in Richmond, IN. He was a 1975 National Trail High School graduate and attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH. He had been the Team Leader in Electronics for 20 years at the Target Store in Richmond, IN. Member of First Baptist Church in New Paris and when healthy, Clyde loved to play basketball and softball with his family and friends. He loved sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. Preceded in death by his mother: Sophia (Lewis) Hampton.

Survived by his wife of 37 years: Linda (Cheek) Hampton; father: Henry Hampton of Richmond, IN; brother: Clayton Hampton of New Paris, OH; sister: Tiffany McKinley of Florida; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the First Baptist Church 6751 S.R. 320 New Paris, OH. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the church with Rev. Reggie Osborne officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
