In failing health about a year, Mrs. Alvtna Gaebler, 78, wife of Charles Gaebler, passed away at her home Saturday at 5:15 p. m. She resided at 276 Ceape street

A lifelong Oshkosh resident Mrs. Gaebler was born here Oct. 29, 1869, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. Wendorff, pioneer Oshkosh grocery merchants. She was married to Charles Gaebler, Sept. 25, 1902, in Oshkosh.

Mrs. Gaebler was a member of Trinity Lutheran church and the Ladies Aid society.

Besides her husband, survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Donald Pierce, Oshkosh; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Wille. Miami, Fl. and Mrs. Richard F. Wille, Oshkosh; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday from Trinity Lutheran church, the-Rev. J. E. Elbert in charge. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the Konrad funeral home until Tuesday noon. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p. m. until the services.
