Retired barber and former owner of Cotner Barbership (1966 - 1988). Member of Rosemont Alliance Church, Minneapolis-Moline Collectors, Eagle Scout, Camp Creek Thrashers and UNL Lester Larson Tractor Test Museum.
Family members include: his son, Steven L. (Patricia) Hermann; daughter, Marilyn A. (Alvin) Stenzel; grandchildren, Jeremy (Samantha) Hermann, Shelley Hermann, Trevor Hermann, Lucas (Tyler) Stenzel, Jared Stenzel; great granddaughter, Remy Noelle Hermann; sister, Charlotte (Ray) Stevens; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by wife, M. Joanne Hermann; parents; brother, Quinn Hermann; sister, Sally DeLong; sister-in-law, Berdine Hermann; brothers-in-law, Max and Richard Gifford.
