Delbert Marvin Johnson, 85, passed away on October 28, 2012 in Broomfield, Colorado. He was born on July 25, 1927, in Lincoln, the son of Mortimer and Ruth Johnson.

Married Shirley (Taylor) Johnson and together they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on October 14, 2012.

Graduate Northeast High School. Served in the United States Army. Self-employed carpenter and builder in Lincoln, retiring in 1985. Charter member of St. Marks United Methodist church. Former Boy Scout leader, member of Kiwanis Club.

Survived by: his beloved wife, Shirley (Taylor) Johnson; children and grandchildren: son, Paul Johnson and wife Sherri (Churchill) Johnson; son, Craig Johnson and wife Linda (Ingram) Johnson, their grandchildren, Chad Johnson and wife Brielle Johnson, Leah Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; son, Bruce Johnson and wife Mardi Moore and granddaughter Miranda Lancaster Moore; and daughter, Heather Johnson and spouse Jess Williams.

Preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Betty (Johnson) Oakeson.

Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorial services in Lincoln.
