Shirley Ann (Taylor) Johnson, 82, joined her beloved husband, Delbert, in death on December 7, 2012 in Broomfield, Colorado. Shirley was born October 24, 1930 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Paul and Hildreth Taylor.

Graduate of Lincoln High School and Lincoln School of Commerce. She and Delbert married and celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on October 14, 2012. Worked as a homemaker and mother, Lincoln General Hospital, Magee's department store and later as assistant manager of Consumer Credit Counseling in Lincoln. They were charter members of St. Marks United Methodist church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, on October 28, 2012; her parents; and sister, Norma (Taylor) Whelchel.

Surviving children and grandchildren: son, Paul and wife Sherri (Churchill) Johnson; son, Craig and wife Linda (Ingram) Johnson and grandchildren, Chad Johnson and wife Brielle Perea-Johnson, Leah Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; son, Bruce and wife Mardi Moore and granddaughter, Miranda Lancaster Moore; and daughter, Heather Johnson and spouse, Jess Williams.

Private family interment held at Fairview Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska. Celebration of Life reception for Shirley and Delbert to be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Van Dorn Villa.
