Grace C. ("Ceil") Richards Kearns, 85, formerly of Central Avenue, died Tuesday in an East Longmeadow nursing home. She was a twenty-five year cafeteria worker at Western New England College in Springfield, and retired in 1974. She also worked at the former F.W. Sickles Co. and the former Red Barn Restaurant. She was a former dance teacher in Holyoke. Born there, she spent most of her life in Chicopee Falls, and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She attended Chicopee High School. Her husband, George F. Kearns, died in 1957. She leaves a son, James R.; a daughter, Judith A. Lord of Springfield; two grandsons, and a niece. The funeral will be Friday morning at Tylunas Funeral Home and the church, with the burial in the parish cemetery.
