John Willis Davis was the youngest son of Nina Hopkins and Anderson Davis. He was the "baby" of the family but the first to die.

Francis Maddox Davis Adair, the mother of John Willis Davis' children also was a survivor. After their divorce and his death, the children were separated and placed in various homes of various family members in Annie Brown, WA, Dora Simpson, LA and Pauline Gohlke, TX.
