Vickie was born on Monday, January 18, 1943 in Bloomsburg, the only daughter of the late Myron and Jean (Wertman) Ohl.
Through her younger years, she attended the Bloomsburg area schools and graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1960.
In 1971, she married her husband, Ray W. Dixon also of Bloomsburg. In addition to raising her children and caring for her family, Vickie also worked outside the home for many years as an AVON Representative selling her products to many throughout the valley. She also was employed by GIANT Food Stores in Bloomsburg for several years.
For over 35 years she was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg.
Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Ray W. Dixon of Bloomsburg; Two sons, Michael Boyer of Bloomsburg, and Dr. Steven Dixon of Richmond, Virginia.
Funeral Services will begin on Monday morning, August 31 at 10 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home in Bloomsburg with Geisinger Columbia Montour Hospice Chaplain, Rev. R. Christian Dunlap, officiating.
Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Lime Ridge.
