Funeral services for Helen A. Hewitt, 90, of Natchez, who died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Camelot Leisure Living in Ferriday, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill McCullin officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.

Mrs. Hewitt was born March 3, 1925 in Franklin County, the daughter of Pearlie Flowers and Artie Clark Flowers. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Natchez. She was a secretary for a number of years for oil drilling companies in Natchez and Adams County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude B. Hewitt, her parents, six sisters, Fannie Wallace and husband, Jake, Willie Byrd and husband, Dubber, Luoma Mullins and husband, Tom, Tinnie Mae Flowers, Katie Mahaffey and husband, Ed, and Rachel Catania and husband, Tony, and two brothers, Truley Flowers and wife, Frances, and Rastus Flowers and wife, Gertrude.

Survivors include nieces, nephews, and friends.
