Amy D. Skinner, 94, Lincoln, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015. Born December 19, 1920 in Lincoln, the daughter of Mark S. and Joyce V. (Laher) Martin, Sr. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where she was the W Club Sweetheart. Retired Deputy Clerk for the Lancaster County Municipal Court for over 24 years. Member of First United Methodist Church, former Cub Scout Den Mother, volunteered at Southeast Community College teaching adults to read, and was a Red Cross volunteer at the Veteran's Hospital. Amy enjoyed stamp collecting, traveling, gardening, and loved all types of sports.
Family members include her sons, David (Marie) Skinner, James (Karen) Skinner; daughter, Judy (Don) Showen; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson;; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Donna Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Robert Gorham.
Memorial Service on Monday, July 13, 2015 at First United Methodist Church. Prior private graveside service at Fairview Cemetery.
