David Carroll, 72, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at his home in Lowry City, Mo. David was born Dec. 14, 1942, in McKees Rocks. As a young man, he moved to Kansas City, Mo., to serve in the Air Force, then on to Lees Summit, Mo., while working at Deffenbaugh Disposal Services as a mechanic and M and M Trucking. He married and retired to the lake with his wife, Leah, in Lowry City, Mo., in 1997. Preceded in passing were his parents, Clarence and Margaret Carroll; and wives, Marsha Sheddon and Mary Anders. David also was in the Air Force, served from 1962-1967, 328th Fighter Wing, ADC. His favorite hobbies were fishing, canning and cooking his famous spaghetti, chili and brisket. David is survived by his wife, Leah; children, Michael (Ann) Carroll, Carly, Ricky Fowler, Gary (Pam) Fowler, Sonya (Dominick) Conti, Tonya (Richard) Hunter, Shahara (Richard) Timbrook, Aaron Fowler, Tracy (Jesse) Martin, John (Tresha) Martin, David Martin and Gene (Amber) Martin and so many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are by SHELDON FUNERAL HOME, Osceola, Mo. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Burial will follow services at Lowry City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Osceola Hospice or Twin Oaks Chapel, Lowry City, Mo. Until I see you again.
